Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar (LOTRO) is a MMORPG developed by Turbine. The game is set in the fantasy world based on the J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth writings. And fans of the Lord of the Rings will not be disappointed as LOTRO provides a slew of details making the MMORPG world feels as genuine as a chapter taken directly from the trilogy.

Players of LOTRO create an avatar from four available races namely human, elf, dwarf, and hobbit. Players can then control the avatar to roam Middle-earth and interact with other players, and non-player characters (NPC).

In LOTRO, the adventure is compose of story quests that once completed, rewards the player with experience, gold, items, and high-quality cutscenes. A character's level increases after it earns a set amount of experience points by fighting monsters and completing the storyline adventures.
